Rotary screen printing is the most advantaged printing method of all the repeat print methods.
The fabric returns between a wide rubber band and repeatedly rotating rollers. It is one of the most expensive printing method as equipment tool and initial investment cost. Production rate is more than film-druck printing. The maximum speed is 90 m/min in theory and 50 m/min in practical terms. The speed is up to thickness of the fabric, processing speed, the pattern and craftmanship. According to factories the length of the processed fabric is between 2400-3000 meters.
The whole process is like that: In the beginning the fabric transmitted via selvedge spreaders properly to the printing department and attached to the infinite blanket. The entry part of the machines should cleaned with vacuum cleaners or brushing units for clearer patterns.
Rotary print screens have holes on the printing parts and the other parts covered with lac. The printing paste given in the screen by the help of pumps and transmitted in fabric by scraping knifes. The level of the dye material measured with electrical or optic systems.
With rotary printing method two fabrics can be printed at the same time.
